Thomas Nepveu back in the top-10 in Florida. Great for the karting driver

Thomas Nepveu, karting driver, was in Ocala (Florida) for the second stage of the Florida Winter Tour ROK, from February 15 to 18. Having registered only 3 days before the race, Thomas had to deal with the last engine option for this last race. Many technical adjustments were necessary for the engine, allowing Thomas to finish in 8th position. Despite the technical problems, this is a good result for Thomas, who will soon be racing in Europe.

Nepveu was also in Ocala from February 7-11 for the final rounds of the 2018 SKUSA Winter Series. Nepveu repeated his consistency by crossing the finish line in 1st place on Saturday and 6th on Sunday. A nice continuation for the driver who finished 4th in the first two events in Homestead, Florida.

However, Thomas had his Saturday win taken away from him after accelerating too fast at the start. As a result, Thomas started Sunday's race with a 5 second penalty, which resulted in a 6th place finish. He also saw his chances for the Championships disappear.

Despite this, there is no doubt that Thomas has definitely carved out a place for himself in the Juniors, despite the fact that he is still in the youngest age group. He achieved his goal of being in the top-5 in the overall SKUSA circuit standings, finishing in 5th place.
